This calligraphic text was included as a folded print in Portfolio Chopin. It is a linear extract of letters by Henri and Bernard to each other from 1962 - 1977. The two are identified by heavy printed letters, BH and HC. The maquette drawing for this print is also held by the Sackner Archive. This is physically the smallest book published by the Press. Ring Piece documents Hendricks' performance at the 8th Annual New York Avant Garde Festival in 1971. In the middle of Manhattan's 69th Regiment Armory (famous for housing the Armory Show in 1913). Hendricks sat in silent meditation for twelve hours, dressed in a tuxedo atop a mound of dirt under which lay buried various relics of his ten-year marriage to Bici Forbes (aka Bici Hendricks).
